HTML 5 is the Language that forms the content and structure for a rendered HTML file ( *.html ). WE all ( John, Pooja, Brandon, David, Tanya, Florence,Markus,Alex, James, and Nikhaz ) meet on Saturday afternoons to learn about HTML 5 in several ways: (1) actual coding, (2) understanding terms and concepts, (3) wide network understanding how HTML pages are structured and delivered to the client. And other stuff.... Participation on this forum constitutes class attendance. Join the conversation for the times between weekends when we meet. Thanks everyone.

NodeJS is JavaScript outside of the web browser; it uses the V8 Chrome JavaScript engine inside a C++ program that is run on the Operating System. It works well with Asynchronous function calls to the OS while maintaining single thread execution which means it's very efficient. This class is a wide survey class into the many terms, theories, syntactical NodeJS modules, and basic support systems that make NodeJS a powerful platform. Our class is composed of the following students: . This is their story during the class.

This class was started on a rainy Wednesday, May evening at Collin College in West Plano. We ( ... | ... ) began to learn about this wonderfully simple and well-entrenched programming language. JavaScript is easy and powerful.

We are trying to get a seat at the cool kid's table. Important to becoming a good programmer is the ability to READ code; to accept, understand, and follow the reasoning the syntax takes us; one more time: we follow the code like we might follow a great story by any of a number great English authors. Likewise we learn to read the NodeJS solutions in JavaScript. Hence we become ONE with the code and relax.

Rassin, Duey, Sid, Carol, Penny, Luiza, and David enjoyed a class on the inner workings of CSS. CSS directs the presentation and specifications (the glue that holds the HTML and JavaScript together) for a webpage, phone app; anything (mostly) that presents HTML to an output device. Here we tell our story; give advice and respond to other students; and present links of articles, youTube videos, and other sources on our journey.

  • No unread posts Angular JavaScript -- 75010 -- Spring, 2019
Here, Helen, Anu, Ryan, Preston, Fabio, Jeremy, Sid, Robert, and Edmund set on the path to learn the complex method of how Angular JavaScript is implemented to program applications. Specifically, we are introduced to NodeJS, Visual Studio Code, TypeScript (ES6 JavaScript) and (most importantly) the MVC design pattern to build web applications. This is a big topic and this course might not make us into Angular JavaScript programmers; yet, it will give us a "high level understanding" to succeed at further "code" lessons that are available on the Web. Lots of theory along with nitty-gritty syntax details will be addressed.

Here, we few, (Edmund, Fabio, David, Mike, Sid, and Robert), in the Spring of 2019, in an introductory Node JavaScript Class, are going to share LINKS, Lessons Learned, and respond to each other in this Forum. NodeJS is just JavaScript that is driven outside the DOM restrictions or the Web Browser (or, of course, any Responsive functions to a API calls or Apps). NodeJS is not a Language, Framework, nor Library. Rather, it's the environment that drives coding. This course constantly returns to the Theory and Syntax that drives JavaScript. And Classes; we can't forget them -- as they form the basis of TypeScript (which is class based JavaScript). Welcome all. We are here learn about what and "how" Node JavaScript works.

Welcome to Siddharth, Mae, Bao-An, Ryan, Sitra, Hoyong, and Janet, who meet Mondays and Wednesdays, (but no class on January 21st ) in January of 2019 at Collin College, the courtyard campus to learn how to READ JavaScript code -- plus we learn some programming. JavaScript forms the basic Language of the web; it's the glue between the HTML and CSS actions that form the Transformation in a browser or API call.
